TRAP is a team-based pickleball academy built around the MiLP competition format. We form dedicated teams that train and compete together throughout the season.

Each team consists of two male and two female players, creating balance, strategy, and accountability.

This isn’t random open play.
This is intentional development with a competitive purpose.

Who can try out?

Anyone. We are building teams for 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0+

Which MiLP DUPR Level Should I Try Out For?

A clear guide for players considering MiLP (Minor League Pickleball) tryouts

Why DUPR Matters for MiLP

MiLP teams are formed using DUPR ratings to ensure fair, competitive play across divisions. Your DUPR is not a label—it’s a snapshot of your current competitive level based on match results.

Choosing the correct level to try out for helps: – Create balanced teams – Ensure competitive matches – Give you the best experience and opportunity to succeed

How MiLP Levels Are Determined

MiLP divisions are based on team DUPR totals, not just individual ratings.

Each team is made up of 4 players, and the sum of their individual DUPR ratings must fall at or below the division cap.

Common MiLP team DUPR levels include:

  • DUPR 12 (average ~3.0 per player)
  • DUPR 14 (average ~3.5 per player)
  • DUPR 16 (average ~4.0 per player)
  • DUPR 18 (average ~4.5 per player)
  • DUPR 20 (average ~5.0 per player)
  • DUPR 22 (average ~5.5 per player)

➡️ Your individual DUPR rating helps determine which team level you are eligible to try out for.
